VetGuard

In Australia,  an extract from News.com in 2016, an article discussing Veterans suicide described,  "According to a Queensland-based charity, Walking wounded, since 1999, 49 soldiers have been killed while on active duty, 239 veterans have taken their own lives".  In America a report released in 2012 by the Department of Veterans Affairs,  reveals "that approximately 22 US Veterans a day take their own lives". This is trend that is happening all over the world and Safe Watch Global believes it has to stop. It's time to protect the ones that protect us.

Our VetGuard app,  through consultation with several Veteran associations has been specifically designed for returned service men and women.  At a time of need our VetGuard app can be activated, which will put the Veteran in touch with other service men and women who have experienced similar combat situations. The people that answer the phone, not only experienced similar situations they have also been trained to listen and discuss the veterans problems on a one to one basis.  At the same time the button is pressed it also emails the association who referred the veteran to the VetGuard app, which allows further follow up should it be required.  This program can only be run through qualified Veteran associations.

If any Veteran associations wish to join the VetGuard program please contact Safe Watch Global direct.
