In a time of need, the people who are closest to you are the people who will respond the quickest.

Individual Plans; Wihkum Help app allows you to nominate up to 10 of your closest friends to be your personal emergency contacts. Should you feel threatened, scared or unsure of a situation, the press of a button will locate the closest person to you and dial their number automatically.  It will also send a push notification and or SMS to the remaining 9 friends you have nominated. This notification will allow your freinds to locate your position or track your movements should you be constantly moving via google maps.  it will continue to do this until you dis-engage the app or your battery runs out.   You will be rest assured that the closest people to you will respond the quickest to your situation. 

Family Plans;   After you have purchased the individual plan you have the option of adding up to 9 individual family members to your account at a reduced cost per additional app.  They will all get the Wihkum Help app downloaded onto their phones and can load their own friends or family into their emergency contacts list.   With the family plan not only do you save money, you have the added benefit of tracking your loved ones 24/7 to ensure they are safe any time of the day.  

Corporate Plans;  With the responsibilities of business to engage more in the welfare of their employees,  now is the time to ensure they are protected during work hours and after work has finished.  A corporate account allows the business to purchase the Wihkum Help app in blocks of 10 or blocks of 100.  The sign up and monthly billing is all web based so it is easy to use and manage. Wihkum Help can be used for any employee in any position. It can allow businesses to track company vehicles and mobile plant eliminating the need for individually installed costly GPS systems. You will be able to locate all your vehicles on the one screen through your corporate account sign in.  You will also be able to track movements and history all at the click of a button.  Wihkum Help will allow your employees to load work collegue mobile numbers as emergency contacts, so in an emergency someone will always be close by and will react the quickest to the situation.

Why does Wihkum:Help request to use my location services?

Wihkum:Help is designed to find the closest person to you in a time of need from your nominated contacts list. In order to do this it needs to know where you are at certain points of time.

Does Wihkum:Help need to track my nominated contacts?

Yes it does. This is to ensure that it can find the closest person to you in your time of need. If your contacts elect not to the tracked it will not call them in an emergency, even if they are the closest person to you.  It will notify them via push notification only. 

Can my nominated contacts see where I am.?

Your nominated contacts can only see where you are once you have activated the help button.  It will send them a push notification with a map of your last known location. This will continue to update until you de-activate the service.  At no other time can your nominated contacts see where you are. 

Can I see where my nominated contacts are with the Wihkum:Help App?

No, you cannot see where your nominated contacts are.

How do I de-activate the app once I have pressed the help button?

In the bottom left hand corner under the "Help" button, there is an "X". If you press this it will de-activate the app.  Once the app is de-activated it will no longer advise your emergency contacts your location.

Can I add family members to my account?

Yes you can add up to 9 family members to your account. Once you have set up your account you can go into "Settings", "Devices" and load your family members details. An additional charge will be added to your monthly account.  

Can I use this service to track my family members under my account?

Yes you can. By setting up family members under your account you can see where they are at any point in time by clicking on the "location logo" at the bottom of the app.  You can track any type or brand of smart phone.  If your family members do not want to be tracked then they can set up a new account under their own name. 

How many times do I need to press the help button before it activates?

You need to press the Help button twice to activate the app.

Do I need a phone service to activate the Wihkum:Help app?

Yes you need mobile or cell coverage in order for the app to work. 

Will it notify emergency services if I press the button?

The Wihkum:Help app will only notify the contacts that you have nominated in your contacts list.  For emergency situation you should call the emergency number of the country you are in. 

Can the Wihkum:Help app be used anywhere in the world?

Yes it can providing you have mobile coverage.  Remember it will only call and notify contacts from your contacts list. 

When is my account debited?

Once the Wihkum:Help app is downloaded you will have a 30 day free trial period. If you elect to continue with the service, your credit card will be debited monthly. If you elect not to continue with the service no charge will be applicable however the app will not work. 

What type of device do I need for the Wihkum:Help app to work?

The Wihkum:Help app can be used on either iPhone or Android phones.
